The A.G.C. of Northwest Ohio/Construction Contractors Council provides its signatory members with a full range of services to assist them in dealing with their work force issues such as resolving labor issues and participating in the bargaining process of labor negotiations.
All negotiations are coordinated by specific craft negotiating committees comprised of members who have assigned their collective bargaining authorization rights to the A.G.C.
As a signatory member of the A.G.C. of Northwest Ohio/Construction Contractors Council services are available to you that assist in the interpretation of the various labor agreements. The relationships that have been developed with the various union officials are available to its members to assist them in advising or resolving problems associated with labor problems.
Within each collective bargaining agreement procedures have been established for contract grievance and arbitrations. If you receive a grievance from the union, a grievance process has been developed on your behalf.
The Health Care Funds, Pension Funds, Labor Management Committees, and Joint Apprentices and Training Committees all receive the availability of either contractor management trustees or a management trustee from the A.G.C. staff as trustees on the Funds.
